Weterani Powstania Styczniowego w II RP
Odzyskania przez Polskę niepodległości w 1918 roku doczekało ponad 3,5 tysiąca weteranów powstania styczniowego. W wolnej Rzeczpospolitej zaprojektowano dla nich specjalne mundury, przyznano szereg przywilejów i otaczano ich szczególną czcią – nawet generałowie salutowali im jako pierwsi.
