Prawdopodobnie najpiękniejszy zaułek Krakowa. Do dziś można zrobić niemal identyczne zdjęcie, tylko trzeba się pojawić o odpowiedniej porze, gdy światło pada skosem z góry, lekko od przodu… wiele takich ujęć powstało poprzez z górą 100 lat.
A to akurat zostało wykonane pod koniec XIX w.ANK, Zbiór fotograficzny, sygn. A-III-627.

I went abroad for the first time this week to Krakow, Poland.
I really enjoyed my visit and managed to do a lot in 3 days and I may do further blog posts on the places I visited.
This, however, is known as ‘Lover’s Bridge’ - the pedestrian bridge across the Vistula River. It’s similar to the Lover’s Bridge in Rome in that couples leave locks on the grates of the bridge and throw the keys into the river below. The bottom image is our own lock, now hundreds of miles from us, left in Krakow.
Some of these locks have been here for 10 years or so, so there’s a real mixture of designs and locks and colours that make up this amazing patchwork of other people’s love. There are also gaps in the bridge, where relationships haven’t worked out and someone’s come back with bolt-cutters to remove their lock.
The view from the bridge is also stunning, so it’s a real beauty-spot not to miss that isn’t really advertised anywhere in the tourist part of Krakow.
